Five Minutes With …. Jye & Jacinta Bancroft

The power of print marketing in a digital age is something that Jye and Jacinta Bancroft understand all too well. In late 2018, the couple took the plunge and started their own print and marketing company, Little Bee Marketing. Since this time, their business has grown rapidly and late last year they moved to a larger premise to keep up with increased demand. We chatted to the couple about their growth and why they say marketing is pivotal for every business.

1.   How did Little Bee Marketing come to life?

We wanted to jump out of the workforce so we could spend better quality time with family, as proud foster carers who currently have seven children it gives us the opportunity to be there for our children as soon as needed, as opposed to previous workplaces who weren’t as flexible with their times.

2.   What services do you offer?

Our goal is to be a one-stop marketing shop. We can do everything, from stickers and business cards right through to full websites, marketing strategies, social media management and vehicle wraps and signage as well as industrial signage and graphic design. We always have a solution for our clients.

3.   What has been the most challenging aspect of running a business?

We haven’t found any significant challenges since beginning the business, we’ve had the odd hiccup of course as all business owners do, however we’ve always been able to overcome them and turn them into a positive experience. We genuinely love what we do so we enjoy overcoming all challenges that come with it.

4.   Why is marketing such a pivotal part of business strategy and growth?

Marketing is everything, marketing is how your clients discover, see and use your business. From a handshake at a meet and greet event right through to your full digital presence. Not having marketing is the equivalent of opening a business and not having a front door for your clients to come in.

5.   What advice would you give to businesses looking to grow in the marketing space but are unsure as to where to start?

The most important thing is to start where you’re comfortable. We began with one printer in our garage and now we have over a million dollars worth of printers and seven full time staff members and a commercial warehouse. If you’re passionate about what you’re doing you will succeed.
