Alana Kennedy, Founder of Ochre Sun, an 100% indigenous-owned and lead start up manufacturing sunscreen infused with sustainably- and ethically-sourced Indigenous botanicals, has been selected as a finalist in the Minderoo Foundation and Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship Dream Venture 2022 Program.
The Dream Venture Masterclasses are a first of its kind program that is dedicated to equipping Indigenous Australians with the connections, capabilities and access to capital to become investor-ready. The program concludes with a gala pitch event held in Melbourne on Thursday, 25th August.
Alana is a proud Waanyi Kalkatungu woman from North Queensland, and introduced Ochre Sun to the market in 2019, when she was based in Townsville.
