Join Townsville Chamber as they go behind the scenes at the Mater Hospital to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Starting earlier than usual, at 7.30am Townsville Chamber is encouraging everyone to wear pink.
This event will be hosted in the Mater Conference Centre, (corner of Fulham Road and Diprose Street in Pimlico) and will feature tours of their Clinical School and Simulation Lab, with presentations by Breast Surgeons on key signs and symptoms. They’ll also have pink ribbons and tea towels for sale with all proceeds going to Mater ‘Chicks In Pink’, funding potentially life-saving breast cancer research and treatment in Queensland.
