5 Minutes With… Ashley De-Campo of Liquidluxe IV

5 Minutes With Ashley De-Campo of Liquidluxe IV

After working as a Registered Nurse across rural Queensland for 9 years, Ashley De-Campo was inspired by her passion for holistic healthcare, and decided to attend an IV nutrition course in Sydney, in mid 2024. This inspired her to later meet with professionals across the UK and Europe that offer the service, and the launch of Liquidluxe IV.

Tell us about yourself and Liquidluxe IV.

I have been working as a Registered Nurse across rural Queensland for 9 years, and currently work part-time in a primary healthcare setting as a Clinical Nurse. In my work, I have always been driven by my love for seeing others smile and making them feel safe and supported in their most vulnerable times.

In recent times, I had the desire to move outside of my comfort zone, and combining my love for helping others and my interest in holistic healthcare seemed like the perfect way to go about it. I attended an IV nutrition course in Sydney in June 2024, later seeking out the opportunity to meet with experienced health professionals across the UK and Europe that offer the service, while on an overseas holiday. These experiences led to the launch of Liquidluxe IV.

My Liquidluxe IV mission is to empower others to take proactive steps toward optimal health. Through mobile and in-clinic services, we provide convenient access to essential vitamins, minerals and hydration, tailored to an individual’s unique needs.

I have been overwhelmed with the support thus far and look forward to growing professionally and personally throughout my journey as a business owner.

What has been the most challenging aspect of owning Liquidluxe IV?

Before launching Liquidluxe IV, I was prepared to face the unique challenges of introducing a service that many people in North Queensland may not be familiar with or have existing misconceptions about. My journey has not only been about offering the service but also educating others about the value of IV vitamin therapy, addressing common misconceptions, and building trust with clients.

As a natural people pleaser, I quickly had to find a balance that ultimately allows me to serve my clients more effectively without compromising my own energy and resources (much easier said than done for me).

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I always say that if I ever win lotto, I will buy acreage and create a dog’s dream home and adopt/save as many dogs as I can, to give them the best life possible.

I currently have two fur babies (Siberian Huskies) named Miley and Mufasa. Miley was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and requires insulin injections twice a day.

What is the best piece of career or business advice you have ever received?

When second guessing myself in the early stages of creating my business, my fiancé (and biggest supporter) would always say- “if it works out, that’s great! Even if things don’t go the way you plan, you will learn and grow in the process.”

Going forward, what is next on the cards for Liquidluxe IV?

Looking ahead, I am excited to build on the momentum my business has already gained through valuable partnerships with local businesses between Townsville, Ingham and Ayr. It has been a privilege to work alongside other businesses within our community, and I am eager to expand these connections further. I look forward to continuing to work with like-minded locals and to meeting new people, uplifting and learning from one another.

Additionally, I will continue to expand my own knowledge and skills to offer more services within our community that fit perfectly into our health and wellness paradigm.
